SaharaLuma was created by Idir Ait Ha, born and raised in the Sahara of Morocco. In 2006, Idir moved to the United States and began building an international hospitality career.
Over the years, his hospitality career has included experience with internationally recognized hotel brands including Marriott, Hilton and Omni Hotels. That experience taught him the value of thoughtful service, attention to detail and making every guest feel genuinely welcomed.
Today, Idir brings those two worlds together. SaharaLuma is his personal way of opening the Morocco he knows to travelers from around the world—with comfort, authenticity and a human connection at the center of every journey.
